 Welcome to Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The Bangladesh National Cricket Team is a national cricket team responding in Bangladesh. The team is administered by Bangladesh cricket board (BCB). Bangladesh is a full member of ICC with test and one day International status. It played first test match in 2000 against in India Dhaka, becoming the tenth test cricket playing Nation.

 The 2011 ICC world cup was the tenth cricket world cup. It was played in India Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It was Bangladesh first time co-hosting a world cup. The world cup was also due to be co-hosted by Pakistan, but in the wake of the 2009 attack on Sri Lanka national Cricket team in Lahore, the international cricket council (ICC) Decided to remove Pakistan from the hosting countries. The headquarters of the organizing committee were originally situated in Lahore, but have now been shifted to Mumbai. Pakistan was supposed to hold 14 matches, including one semi-final. Eight of Pakistan’s match (including the semi-final) was awarded to India, four to Sri Lanka and two Bangladesh.

Naimur Rahman was the first captain Bangladesh cricket team. Now Sakib Al Hasan is captain of Bangladesh national cricket team. Now was lead the team the past world cup 2011. He is left handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler. He plays a roll of all-rounder in the team.
