Bangladesh taem in time good performance

Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful and opening batsman Junaid Siddique has been called the unofficial Twenty20 tri-series against Zimbabwe and South Africa next month after a reasonable performance in Bangladesh Premier League. They replace Nazimuddin and Jahurul Islam, both in the top order was during the Asian Cup in March.
Akram Khan led the jury also deleted shahadat Hossain and Imrul Kayes and included rounders Farhad Reza and Ziaur Rahman. The voters have also retained without lid wicketkeeper-batsman and fast bowler Anamul Haque Abul Hasan, who replaced Shafiul Islam halfway through the Asian Cup after Shafiul had injured his shoulder.
This season Ashraful and Junaid beaten as before the beginning of their career in the Twenty20 format. Ashraful has the most runs in T20Is for Bangladesh, and was the second highest scorer in the country for the BPL batsmen with 258 runs at a strike of 112.66, including a 50th Junaid scored 238 runs in the BPL and was in good shape in first class cricket. He played his last T20I in August 2009 against West Indies.
"Junaid [Siddique] has a very good reputation as a Twenty20 player and more importantly, he played well in the BPL and in the later part of the National Cricket League," said Akram.
"Ashraful also looked good in the national competition, as he always does. It is also true that he can not live up to our expectations, but we want to preserve the faith in him because he is a very good opportunity for Twenty20 cricket , "added he added.
Ashraful is currently playing for Blackheath Club in Kent Premier League and will return to the country on 8 June.
But many will closely follow how Ziaur step up to the major steps in its first recall, as mentioned in the preliminary list for the inaugural World Twenty20 five years ago. A 25-year-old all-rounder Ziaur medium pace bowling was overshadowed by his big hard-hitting opportunities.
Ziaur conducted in the intervening period, but has a much better season for Khulna, its top side, to make important contributions to the top of Chittagong Kings in BPL. In the upper part of the country one day competition, Dhaka Premier League, has been Ziaur to live in Old DOHS Sports Club on the top of the table with some quick runs in power plays.

• IN: Junaid Siddique, Mohammad Ashraful, Farhad Reza and Ziaur Rahman
• OUT: Imrul Kayes, Jahurul Islam, Nazimuddin, Shafiul Islam, Hossain shahadat

Imrul Kayes could consider themselves unlucky because he has very little chance because the sidelines were put to the Asian Cup. He was in the squad after finding some form of national cricket, but lost to Nizamuddin Tamim Iqbal's opening partner. Now Imrul, Nizamuddin and Jahurul thrown aside.
"[Jahurul Islam] Omi is unfortunate, because as a backup wicketkeeper-batsman [Anamul Hague] Bijoy impressed us most. Bijoy is in good contact and did well at all levels of the national cricket. He is a good prospect," Akram said . "On the other hand, Imrul [Kayes] is a good opening batsman, but he is capable of 50-overs game."
It would be the first opportunity to skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and team management, led by newly appointed coach Richard Pybus, to assess the resources in the Twenty20 format. Akram also sees this as the first of three chances to put together a balanced line-up for the ICC World Twenty20s in september.
"We have excellent opportunities to find the right combination for Twenty20 World Cup. We are scheduled to play in Zimbabwe, Trinidad & Tobago and Ireland, and thought that we do not advocate making changes, always ideas we recognize," Akram said.
Bangladesh arrive in Harare on 13 June and take on Zimbabwe in the first match of the tournament on 17 June.
Squad: Mushfiqur Rahim (CAPT), Mahmudullah (Vice Capt.), Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique, Anamul Haque, Mohammad Ashraful, Shakib Al Hasan, Nasir Hossain, Abdur Razzak, Elias Sunny, Mashrafe Mortaza, Farhad Reza, Nazmul Hossain, Ziaur Rahman , Abul Hasan performance
