UPDATE: Aussie cricket coming to Dominica

Dominicans are waiting with high expectations within the next 24 hours to learn if the third Digicel Test between West Indies and Australia for 23 Carded April 2012 by the Guyana National Stadium at Windsor Park, Dominica can be switched.

A release from the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) proposes to announce its position on the third Digicel Test after consultation with other stakeholders.

The change was necessary because of an unresolved impasse between the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) and an interim management committee to manage affairs of cricket in the country.

But to date there is no official word from the WICB on this topic.

On whether the WICB was considered the test to another location, Sammy said: "We have alternatives, we must look at all the possibilities ..

"We have no problems with the IMC as a consultant, but it must be the SCI control of cricket in Guyana to be. The first option is to keep the game in Guyana. If they (the dead) can not be solved, We alternatives sooner rather than later see, "added Sammy.

"We want a solution. We want to play there, but we are looking for options and a decision for the good of the game, Guyana, and the people in the Caribbean," Sammy closed.

Chairman Emmanuel Nanthan Dominica and the Windward Islands Cricket Board and a director of the WICB.
